We create and operate our own software rather than taking on client work. We focus on a small number of products and build them carefully; Akiba Pocket Money is the first.
Akiba Pocket Money helps families manage pocket money and everyday tasks while children learn how money works and parents retain a clear view. Every balance has a traceable history, personal photos are encrypted before upload, and the app neither connects to bank accounts nor holds anyone's money.

We ask for only what a product genuinely needs. Akiba Pocket Money requires no child email address, phone number, date of birth, home address or location.
Security and privacy are considered before a feature is built, not added at the end. In Akiba Pocket Money, each family's data is kept separate at the database level as well as in the app.
In Akiba Pocket Money, personal photos are encrypted on the device before upload. Our servers cannot decrypt them.
We fund our work independently, so product decisions remain with the people building and maintaining the software. That gives us room to make careful choices about what we ship and what information a product genuinely needs.
Software should work beyond a development machine. We do not call it finished until it has been shown working on the devices and platforms it is intended for.
Releasing a product begins our responsibility for it. We would rather support fewer products well than ship more than we can maintain.
If something is still in development, we say so. We do not present plans or prototypes as finished features.
Akiba Solutions Ltd was formed in 2026 to build and operate software of its own. Starting small gives us the opportunity to establish the standards we intend to keep before habits and shortcuts become difficult to change.
Our first product began with an everyday family problem: helping children learn how money works without asking families for more personal information than the job requires. That led to a broader principle — useful software should be straightforward, respectful of its users and honest about what it does.
That principle is not limited to family software. It is the foundation for whatever Akiba Solutions builds next.
